We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and property data you enter into RentBase. We also collect usage data automatically (pages visited, features used) to improve the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, to send transactional emails (rent reminders, maintenance updates), and to process billing via Stripe. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security. Property and tenant information is accessible only to your account. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing (we never store your card details)
- Vercel — hosting and edge delivery
- Resend — transactional email delivery
Each provider has their own privacy policy governing their handling of data.
5. Tenant Data
When you add tenant information to RentBase, you are responsible for having appropriate authorization to store that data. Tenant portal access is controlled by you and can be revoked at any time.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Your Rights

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
